The National Honor Society is an exclusive club for honor students at THS. The club runs based on four fundamentals, which include a student's leadership, scholarship, character, and service. In order to become a member of NHS, students must demonstrate these qualities as well as have a weighted academic average of 103 and have 30 hours of community service before admission. Once admitted, students must maintain their academic average as well as continue to serve their community. An event sponsored by the National Honor Society is the annual blood drive here at Tolland High School. To be a member, one must have the attitude to better his or herself and his or her community. |
