Block 2 this semester is Senior English at the Standard level. The focus is on British and World Literature (mostly British). This class will mix readings (of original texts with supporting non-fiction materials) with movies (most often dramatization of literary classics). Writings will consists of personal response writing, timed essays, and the traditional five-paragraph essay. Independent reading is also encouraged (and a part of the class).
