Electricity and Magnetism
Our planet relies on electricity and magnetism. We use electricity everyday. It exists in the infrastructure of our cities and towns and to power our everyday lives. This unit will examine basic electric charge to how to build simple and parallel circuits. The connection between electricity and magnetism is studied. We will look at simple bar magnets and more complex electromagnets and learn how they are incorporated in the technology that surrounds our world.
