This course is designed for students who have mastered algebra and geometry concepts in the prerequisite honors courses. Students will study a variety of topics including basic algebra concepts, systems of equations, matrices, quadratic functions, polynomials, rational exponents, radicals, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, rational expressions, conics, trigonometric functions, counting methods, probability, and data analysis. The graphing calculator will be used extensively to explore these topics and their applications. Students may progress to College Preparatory Pre-Calculus or Honors Advanced Pre-Calculus upon recommendation of the teacher.
