AP Psychology: History to Types of Therapy
AP Psychology starts with the History of Psychology and transitions to theorists, specific theories, growth and development to personality. We then look into intelligence, testing and learning and finish with abnormal  and therapy.

This is an intensive course. Time constraints and the demands of a college course necessitate making the most of class time. Most days will consist of lectures, discussion and analysis. Students need to take extensive notes. You will have a great deal of work to do outside of class. Unit assignments will be posted so you can budget your time.

There is a summer reading assignment due the start of the semester.

Grades are based on multiple types of formative and summative assessments, including  a culmination project, and a  concept thesis paper.

All assignments are posted. Dates for tests and long term assignments are posted in advance. Students should review class notes and assignments on a nightly basis to be prepared.
